Serenade among the hardware

We (and the audience) had to talk her into sitting on the crate. I think she would have hidden behind it otherwise.

This was supposed to be a surprise, but apparently she'd overheard some lunch table conversation and it wasn't quite a surprise anymore. Considering her comments to her fiance about the fate that was in store for him, it is perhaps just as well that it wasn't a complete surprise.
